"Healing through stories, connection, and courage"
My journey has been shaped by profound loss, cultural reclamation, and the power of creativity to rebuild. I work alongside individuals and communities who are navigating grief, trauma, identity, and change, offering spaces of connection, expression, and hope.
Over the past 16 years, my mahi has woven together counselling, youth work, end-of-life care, creative arts therapy, storytelling, and community advocacy. My approach honours both lived experience and professional expertise, grounded in cultural values, trauma-informed practice, and compassion-led leadership.
Through Re:Woven Therapy, I am committed to creating safe, inclusive, and creative spaces for healing, especially for those often overlooked: survivors of trauma and abuse, LGBTQIA+ communities, Māori and Pacific peoples, and those walking with grief.
I believe in the sacredness of storytelling, the courage of creativity, and the importance of making every moment count, not by rushing through life, but by learning how to live fully in its depths.
Ingrid is an experienced counsellor, creative, and community advocate.
At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief: that every moment of our lives, even the hardest ones, holds the potential for healing, meaning, and transformation.
