“Where story meets safety, and healing begins.”
🌿 Our Approach
Healing with Integrity, Creativity, and Compassion
At Re:Woven, our approach is rooted in relationship, creativity, and cultural wisdom. We believe healing is not a one-size-fits-all process — it’s personal, layered, and sacred. Our role is to hold safe space, walk alongside, and honour each person’s journey at their own pace.
Whether we’re working with grief, trauma, identity, or creative self-expression, we approach every person and every story with deep care, respect, and authenticity.
🌺 What Guides Our Practice
Whakapapa – We begin with story
Your story matters. We honour where you’ve come from, who you are, and what has shaped your life. Every layer of your whakapapa (cultural, personal, spiritual, creative) is welcomed here.
Wairua – Healing is more than talk
We understand that healing happens across all parts of who we are — body, mind, spirit, whānau, and whenua. Our work integrates holistic and Indigenous models like Te Whare Tapa Whā, Fonofale, and Wayfinding Leadership.
Creative Process – Expression is powerful
Art, movement, poetry, and storytelling are all forms of healing. We use creative expression to bypass language when words are too hard, giving voice to what’s inside.
Trauma-Informed Practice – Safety is foundational
We prioritise emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual safety. Our work is shaped by an understanding of trauma’s impacts — especially for those who have experienced spiritual abuse, marginalisation, or harm in systems of power.
Utu and Reciprocity – Mutual respect
Healing is a relational process. We aim to walk with humility, to give back where we can, and to ensure that power is shared, not held.
Lived Experience – We practise what we teach
Our team brings lived experience alongside qualifications — we know what it means to walk through the fire and come out changed. This shapes our integrity, empathy, and commitment.
✨ The Way We Work
Client-led, pace-honouring sessions
Culturally responsive and inclusive
Creative, spiritual, and holistic integration
Professional, ethical, and confidential
Relational, not hierarchical
Judgement-free, body-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming
🌈 Why This Matters
In a world that often silences pain, disconnects us from ourselves, or treats healing like a checklist — we offer something different. We offer presence. We offer story-honouring. We offer space to breathe, to feel, and to rebuild. Every person is seen as whole, even in their brokenness.
